You are always in charge of the process and can decide how to move forward when you report an incident.
We recognize and appreciate that discrimination, harassment and violence can exhaust those who endure it. Speaking up about this issue is often tough as some may fear not being heard, upsetting team leads, or challenging corporate culture. However, in order to act on the issue, we need to know what’s going on.
We encourage you to speak up, and we commit to handling every claim with compassion and a high degree of discretion.
By raising our voices on this issue, we can all help to create a positive workplace.
If you are being sexually harassed (or suspect another person is being harassed), please report it to the People team, your lead or any other person you feel safe to tell. In serious cases like sexual assault, please call the police and inform the People Team that you plan to press charges. We acknowledge it’s often hard to come forward about these issues, and we strive to have as many channels of communication open so that whoever you're comfortable talking to, we're here for you.
<aside> 🚨 Every instance of discrimination, harassment and violence should be reported as soon as it occurs. Whether it was observed, happened to you personally, or the problem was reported to you, we ask that you submit a report in writing to the People Team as soon as possible.
